Micro Poems
by Rupa Anand 26th February 2024
komorebi
dappling through trees
the light & shade
of sixty-nine years
on the planet . . .
from the noon heat
of open spaces
she flies
into the shade
of a banyan
city development
a shady MLA’s name
on every park light
Haiku
Haiku
by Steliana Cristina Voicu 27th Feb 2024
I load my luggages into car…
above the fading stars
the brighter lighthouse
spring moon
reflecting in the bucket water...
an icicle chases her away
after the rain…
beads of Milky Way
inside a gladiolus
olympic moon -
the gymnast ends the exercise
on floor
Haiku
By Satyanarayana Chittaluri 28th February 2024
dusk
dawn on her face
dad's home
flying kites
elders became
children
setting sun
she holds brightness
closing her eyes
Poetic Musings
by Jennifer Gurney 29th February 2024
standing at the fulcrum
shortest day, longest night
I lean into winter
to tip the scales
to spring
lights flicker
to mark the end
of intermission
only in winter
do we count the days
to solstice
